Pink and grey is one of my favorite color combinations. In fact, I almost chose it as the color palette for the wedding. As you can see, it has also seeped into our home decor with the dark gray couch and obnoxious pink pillows. With the weather just now getting under control here in Montreal, I finally got a chance to pull these Camilla Skovgaard booties out of the box. Darling Fiance hates them. Like, reaaallly hates them (much like the aforementioned obnoxious pink pillow). I of course, love them. Same goes for the pink pillows. I think the booties are such an interesting shape and so unlike anything else I have in my closet. I usually stick to either prim little ballet flats or towering heels, but when I came across these booties I needed them in my life. I think they’re such a great foil to what would otherwise be a major overload of pink with this look. Since we decided to shoot this look indoors, clearly the poodle wanted to get in on the action. And yes, that is a pink bow in her hair.
