Pencil Skirt

February 8, 2012

Oh turtlenecks, I can’t believe there was once a time when I couldn’t stand wearing you. It was one of those items, much like pants, that I hated wearing as a child. All I wanted was a pretty dress and pretty shoes. While this hasn’t changed one bit, I’ve come to the realization that a basic turtleneck is a wonderful piece to have in your wardrobe. It can be seamlessly dressed up or down and moves equally seamlessly from day to night. Turtlenecks also prove to be great layering pieces for turning your summer dresses into more winter-friendly attire.

Skirt: Nicole Miller

Turtleneck: American Apparel

Shoes:Bamboo

Bracelet and Necklace: Vintage

Belt: Vintage

I enjoy long walks through Neiman Marcus, red soled shoes, skinny black pants, oversized cocktail rings, obnoxious bows, nipped waists and full skirts.

XOXO
