Monday was Darling Fiance’s birthday so we started to celebrate with gifts and a birthday brunch at the Sofitel. We sat on the patio and had a delicious meal. The day was spent walking around the city enjoying the gorgeous weather before we ended the night with celebratory drinks and dinner at the XO lounge and restaurant at Le Saint-James in the Old Port. The hotel is hands down my favorite in the city. It’s totally decadent with a mix of sexy contemporary finishes mixed with the original opulent old world splendor that has made the hotel a Montreal landmark.
