As I mentioned last month, I’ll be acting as a style ambassador for Le Chateau for 2015 and each month I’ll be taking on a different sartorial challenge. Since February is the month of love thanks to Valentines Day, this challenge was all about creating a perfect date night look. This lace crop top and matching skirt make for a look that is both romantic and alluring thanks to the tiniest hint of skin at my midriff. As for accessories, a little red clutch and baubles make for a lovely little nod to the holiday without being to thematic.
While Darling Husband and I weren’t able to spend Valentines Day together this year since I was attending NYFW and he was busy lawyering away, I wore this look for our post-Valentines Day date-night. In my twenties, date-nights frequently involved bottle service, velvet ropes, and trendy DJs but now I love nothing more than an amazing meal and actually being able to hear the conversation. Ah, maturity.
