I’ll be honest, as I sit here writing I’m wearing bright pink sweatpants and a pink and white stripped top. Pretty much, the exact opposite of this gorgeous look that Olga of OK Photo|Video captured of me. That sartorial dichotomy is me in a nut shell. I’m either in a ball gown (or in this case, a gorgeous lace dress from Zimmermann) or pjs/workout clothing. An all black outfit or in floral prints with a padded matching headband.
Since getting this dress, I’ve worn it for some very fun nights out and this evening in Paris was no exception. Following a totally decadent facial at the Ambassade Biologique Recherche {you can ready about my experience HERE}, my mum and I headed over to Girafe Paris for an equally decadent dinner. Located in the 16th right on the Trocadero, there are some of the most gorgeous views of the Eiffel Tower from their terrace. With a seafood heavy menu, it focus on the delicious offerings of the French coast with local catches. The oyster selection was wonderful and the octopus is not to be missed! Service was very good and the decor was absolutely gorgeous. An intimate space, it was inspired by the look of the 1930s. While a very popular and Instagramble location, Girafe isn’t just a pretty face. The food and atmosphere were just as wonderful as the gorgeous space. If you’re interested in booking a table during your time in Paris, I would recommend booking immediately through the restaurant’s website or asking your hotel concierge to reach out on your behalf.
For those interested in recreating this look, I’ve linked similar pieces in the shoppable widget below. Unfortunately, this Zimmermann dress is from a prior season but I’ve rounded up other gorgeous options from the line. Happy shopping darlings!
