In honor of our second wedding anniversary, I thought I’d finally share photos of the amazing day. I’ll let the photos mostly speak for themselves but I will say it was a truly spectacular day. We not only were joined as husband and wife, but we brought together two families and two cultures which resulted in one wonderful union. Or as I’ve lovingly christened it, My Big Fat Greek/Jewish/Canadian/American/Irish wedding. There was love, food, dancing, cocktails, more food, more dancing, and for good measure…more food.
I wore a pair of diamond and pearl earrings given by my maternal grandfather to my grandmother and a necklace made from one half of a set of diamond drop earrings that also belonged to her. The dress and belt were Romona Keveza and my cathedral length veil was custom-made.
While it was a Greek Orthodox ceremony, I was walked down the aisle by both my mother and father which traditionally occurs in Jewish weddings.
We were married in the church that Darling Husband’s grandfather helped found and by the priest who also married his parents. Side note, we had an “intimate” wedding of under 500 guests.

The venue was the Montreal Science Centre in the Old Port.
My hair was done by the one and only Laurentius Purnama of Laurentius Salon and makeup was by Caroline Theoret.
Flowers were done by Fleurs Des Jardins and catering was by the classic Montreal French bistro, Le Pois Penche.
