I’ve said it countless times before and I’ll continue to say it: a simple black turtleneck is one of the best items to have in your wardrobe. Wonderfully versatile and universally flattering, it can easily be dressed up or down. Layered under sleeveless tops and dresses, it’s also a great item for getting extra wear out of your favourite summer pieces. I typically end up picking up at least one new black turtleneck a season, from thin cotton to heavier knit pieces, I have one for almost any time of year or sartorial situation. Just slouchy enough, I love how it also flatters my curves beautifully.
