From Burberry to Dior, Metallics had a major presence on the Spring/Summer 2013 runways. This former party girl is pretty thrilled about this. I’ve yet to meet a gold accent I haven’t fallen in love with or a shiny little mini skirt that didn’t make me want to spend the night dancing in a delightfully pretentious night club. Darling Husband hates those places, I love them. Give me a doorman and a bottle minimum and I’m one happy camper. He’s more of a pub and live band kind of guy… Back to the metallics. You can either inject some metallic flair by way of accent pieces or, if you’re truly brave, you can take the runway to real life with a head-to-toe metallic look.
