Greetings from Philly darlings! We’ve made a bit of a stop here before heading down to DC bright and early Friday morning. On the subject of traveling, I thought I’d share with you my preferred style of dressing and some of my favorite tips for arriving in style. I like to keep things very simple with minimal jewelry and loose layers that I can pile on or take off depending on the temperature. However, leave the pjs in the bedroom. There’s no need to look like you rolled out of bed even if you just have. Comfortable jersey pieces and little black leggings are the perfect option for staying cozy on your journey and still looking put together. For shoes, you can never go wrong with a chic little ballet flat. Perfect for easily navigating security if you’re flying and always easy to slip on and off to get comfortable. Of course the addition of oversized sunglasses is the perfect way to finnish off your look. Or you can always go the Victoria Beckham route by rocking sky high stilettos and daytime diamonds. That woman can rock a departure and arrival like no one else. And if you’re flying, remember to ditch the makeup, load on the moisturizer, and chug bottled water throughout the duration of the flight to combat that damaging recirculated air that will suck the life out of your skin. Seriously, your skin will thank you on touchdown.
