Introduced earlier this year, the Tiffany Blue Book 2021 collection is a triumph of the artistic and technical excellence of the Tiffany & Co. artisans. Merging the whimsical style of the famed jewelry designer and long time Tiffany & Co. collaborator Jean Schlumberger with incredible Tiffany high jewelry designs, Colors of Nature is a celebration of the depth and beauty of the natural world. With their rich history of sourcing the worlds’ most incredible stones and pioneering cutting-edge craftsmanship while still honouring heritage production techniques, Tiffany & Co. has once again created a collection of staggering beauty and skill with Colors of Nature.
The collection brings to life glittering seas, lush botanicals, and striking creatures through glittering gemstones and diamonds. Green tourmalines and rare Colombian emeralds bring to life abundant landscapes while aquamarines, sapphires, and tsavorites mimic rippling seas. And for the sky above, yellow and orange sapphires and rare gemstones like spinels bring to mind a fiery sunrise. Earths creatures from the land and sea are imagined in a dazzlingly array of precious gems.
Two of the most spectacular pieces of the Tiffany Blue Book 2021 collection are absolutely show stopping necklaces. Done with tanzanite and kunzite, considered two of the House’s legacy gemstones since it was Tiffany & Co. that first introduced them over the course of the 20th century to the world of fine jewelry, these pieces are a glittering example of the mastery of highly jewelry design and creation.
The hand of Jean Schlumberger is brought back to life with many of the pieces in the Colors of Nature collection. These innovative and whimsical pieces also highlight the astounding talent of the Tiffany & Co. design, cutting, and setting artisans. The collection also further honours the exceptional skill of the House’s artisans showcasing an over-21 carat diamond that was cut into an internally flawless marquise shape and a diamond necklace that is set by hand in a way that makes the stones appear to almost float on the wearer.
As with the rest of Tiffany & Co.’s pieces, the stones sourced for Colors of Nature were done responsibly further cementing the House’s commitment to transparency and ethical approach to sourcing and production.
