The Time I Went (quasi) Hiking in Prada Ballet Flats

July 11, 2012

And here I thought I couldn’t top the last time I engaged in a physical activity in vastly inappropriate footwear. Let’s also quantify that what was possibly inappropriate to many others was totally appropriate to me. Christian Louboutin espadrilles are a perfect golfing shoe, especially when they match your candy colored shorts. But I digress. I think I might have outdone myself with a climb about the summit of Mt. Tremblant in these Prada ballet flats. Paired with this vintage dress that once belonged to my mum, this outfit was perfect for lunch at a charming little restaurant that we came across and a walk through the village. However, when faced with the slightly rougher terrain of the peak of Mt. Tremblant the shoes might appear to be to some a slightly poor choice. For this intrepid fashionista…not so much.

Dress: Vintage

Flats: Prada

Bag: Louis Vuitton

Sunglasses: Forever 21

I enjoy long walks through Neiman Marcus, red soled shoes, skinny black pants, oversized cocktail rings, obnoxious bows, nipped waists and full skirts.
