To say I got a few funny looks at the driving range is a slight understatement. The look on Darling Fiance’s face when I informed him that, no, I would not be changing shoes was beyond priceless. The head shaking that ensued when I discovered that attempting to swing with two full wrists of pretty baubles was not the easiest/best idea was also pretty funny. It was an eventful afternoon at the driving range to say the least. Now that classes are over I’ve been trying to be much more active, heading back to the gym and tracking down an adult ballet class that I can’t wait to start up. I started ballet at 3 years old and didn’t stop till I left for university. My teenage years were spent in ballet studios, attending class up to six times a week and spending summers in intensive programs. It’s nice to be working out again, and a trip to the driving range on a sunny Saturday was the perfect way for Darling Fiance and I to relax together and get in a little workout. He got to work his aggression out by wacking little balls very long distances (I hear being a lawyer can have that effect on one) and I got a chance to wear these delightfully ridiculous shorts in public without getting funny looks from passing strangers. However, I was informed that the matching blazer was a little “much”.
