For a day spent enjoying the quaint charm of Cape May on the New Jersey shore, I opted for comfortable flats and my favourite pair of J Brand velvet pants. I’ve mentioned before that I’m a big fan of pairing navy and black together and I think this look is a great example of breaking that fashion rule. The MTV stereotype of the Jersey shore is the furthest thing from this tranquil town with its Victorian architecture. Looking at these pictures as I sit here in Montreal with the snow coming down makes me miss the gorgeous, sunny, and comparably warm weather that I was spoiled with the entire time I was back in the States.
