Thanksgiving in Philadelphia Photo Diary

December 12, 2014

IMG_0797

Thanksgiving is a huge deal in the United States and is considered one of the High Holy Days in my parents’ house, beyond you know…the real High Holy Days. Marrying a Canadian has proved quite useful this time of year since American and Canadian Thanksgivings fall on different days so there’s never the dilemma of whose parents house we go to.

For this trip, Darling Husband and I actually took to play tourist in the wonderful city I grew up in. We explored Philadelphia’s historical district, taking in some of the most important places in American history. There was also food…lots and lots and lots of food.

I enjoy long walks through Neiman Marcus, red soled shoes, skinny black pants, oversized cocktail rings, obnoxious bows, nipped waists and full skirts.
