It might be positively boiling here in Montreal, you don’t even want to know what my hair looks like at the moment darlings, but with the A/W 2013 collection from Ted Baker London landing on my desk I’m craving the colder months. The collection is a combination of the luxurious and the playful with bold geometric prints and ladylike finishes like lace, pleating, and delicate beading. Pulling inspiration from the Belle Epoque and 1940s couture, the A/W 2013 collection from Ted Baker London is truly a standout. To say that I’m lusting over more than a few pieces is a gross understatement. From the full skirts and nipped waists reminiscent of Monsieur Dior’s iconic New Look to the downright glamorous red evening gown pictured below, the collection is total perfection in the humble opinion of this besotted blogger. Make sure to head over to the WestmountFashionista Facebook page to see images from the stunning lookbook and even more pieces from the collection. It’s also worth noting that the gorgeous clothing and spot on styling of the campaign bring to mind the moody beauty of Hitchcock’s heroines. Just please don’t blame me when you want to scoop up multiple pieces from the collection instead of buying groceries next month.
