This weekend, Darling Husband and I ventured below the border to be with friends for a special weekend in honor of a special little lady. I was supposed to have two maids-of-honor at my wedding, my two very dear friends and sorority sisters. When the day came, I was down a maid but was on my way to becoming crazy auntie J to a beautiful little girl. Her arrival was on the early side, I’m guessing she wanted to meet her pretty awesome parents sooner rather than later. I don’t blame her, they’re pretty cool. Her mum is a crazy beautiful person inside and out, and her dad…well one time he climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in four days….because, well because he could. This past weekend was her Christening and guests poured in from as far away as London and Montreal, a true testament to just how special she is and how fabulous her parents are.
