Styling a Utility Vest: Day 3

September 6, 2012

For the third and final day of styling this utility vest I wanted to create a look that was more polished and tailored then the previous two looks for enjoying dinner out with girlfriends. Paired with these tailored, menswear inspired jeans, the zipped up and belted utility vest helps create a streamlined and classic silhouette. By throwing heels on with this look, I was further able to elongate my body in a way that doesn’t require Photoshop. Clearly, this is one big giant positive. As for the TART Collections burnout tee, let’s just say I practically live in these things. Between the super soft material, the v-neck, and the just right fit, these perfect tees are one of my closet staples.

Vest: Old Navy – T-Shirt: TART Collections – Jeans:Anlo (find similar here) – Belt:Hermes – Sunglasses: Ray Ban  Jewelry: Vintage – Heels: Topshop

I enjoy long walks through Neiman Marcus, red soled shoes, skinny black pants, oversized cocktail rings, obnoxious bows, nipped waists and full skirts.
