For the second look that I styled with my utility vest, I wanted to create an outfit that was perfect for playing tour guide for my visiting friend. We spent the day wandering around Montreal, stopping for lunch at Cafe Holt, popping in to the wedding venue, and ended with cocktails in the Old Port. This look is in fact perfect for the weekends or a relaxed day off in general. From running errands, enjoying the city, or grabbing a bite to eat, this is an ideal casual but still polished look. By layering the vest over the gingham shirt, I’m once again adding definition in my waist and adding dimension to the rest of the outfit. Additionally, the vest gives a bit of an edge to an otherwise totally preppy look. In blog design related news, I’ve added handy little links in the outfit breakdown under the final photo to either the items I’m wearing or a similar option for your shopping pleasure.
