Since it’s now officially Spring, although the weather here in Montreal would prove otherwise, I’ve started my usual seasonal wardrobe re-organization. From pruning (pinkie swear Darling Husband) to determining if there are any items needing replacement or updating, I edit my closet each season. However, now that my financial decisions are intertwined with the person I’m building a life and future with, I have to be more financially responsible. Also, Darling Husband might start closet cleaning for me if I bring home one more pair of shoes. Not so in my early twenties. I lived off of peanut butter and jelly crackers during the majority of university so that I could keep up my committed relationship with Neiman Marcus. And what a relationship it was…but, I digress.
Canadian favorite Dynamite has wonderful new spring items at a totally wallet friendly price point. I’ve been ogling blush coats for a while and thanks to this beautiful (and under $100!) light weight trench option I finally scooped one up. I’ve paired it with two of my favorite closet staples that are still going strong after quite a few seasons, a classic black turtleneck and belled jeans that are perfectly on trend.
