Traditionally called a smoking shoe, this style of flats has been popping up all over the fashion world recently. You’ve seen my favorite leopard print pair a few time already, and I can guarantee you’ll continue to see them. There’s something about this classic shape that works so well in the various prints and colors available. Much like ballet flats, the smoking shoe is the perfect option for when you’re looking for a fashionable shoe that’s actually comfortable. I love my heels as much as the next girl but sometimes a five-inch stiletto isn’t the most practical option. Silly I know darlings, but alas it’s true. You should see the looks I get when I show up to class in the history department when I’m dressed in anything more than jeans and boots. I might be willing to leave the heels at home, but never the leopard print. Or oversized sunglasses.
