This week, the Montreal fashion crowd will be convening daily at Arsenal for the shows. This cavernous event space has been transformed into Montreal’s own Lincoln Center with models, industry professionals, and fashion lovers alike streaming in and out and posing for the legions of photographers. The first show that I attended this season was Pedram Karimi. This Iranian born, Montreal-based young designer debuted his label in the Summer of 2011 and he’s defined himself with an androgynous and minimalistic aesthetic. His runway was dominated by a futuristic grey, white, and black color palette.
