While Fall might still feel quite far away, I can’t help but think about cooler months thanks to the Pretty Ballerinas Fall/Winter 2019/2020 preview that I recently had the pleasure of attending. Even the most casual reader and follower of Westmount Fashionista knows that I have a deep love (or as Darling Husband likes to say, obsession) for this gorgeous line of chic footwear that is handmade in Spain. Beloved by super models (Kate Moss has been papped in hers quite a few time), royalty (everyone from members of the Spanish Royal family to Princess Olympia of Greece who previously collaborated with the brand has been spotted in their styles), and those who simply appreciate beautifully designed and expertly crafted footwear, Pretty Ballerinas is a brand that produces stunning collections, season after season .
For Fall/Winter 2019/2020, Pretty Ballerinas is showing a collection that highlights the absolute best of the brand as well as introduces some new embellishments, prints, styles, textures, and even a new shape. From oversized bejewelled buckles, to sumptuous bows and intricate embroidery, the coming season is the perfect representation of elegant maximalism. Prince of Wales check and leopard print play beautiful against the crystals, oversized bows, studs, and tassels that adorn favourites like the pointed-toe flats, the classic ballerina style, loafers, mules, sneakers, and the Ella which has a decidedly 1980s inspired silhouette.
Even with my rather robust collection of Pretty Ballerinas, I always find new takes of favourite styles to keep drawing me back to the brand season after season. And this season, it is no different. I have quite a few styles that I have my eye on and will undoubtably be picking up as they filter in to stores in the coming weeks. For those who prefer to shop the online boutique {here}, you can already start purchasing some of the gorgeous collection. Happy shopping darlings!
