One of the many shows that I attended during World MasterCard Fashion Week in Toronto was Hilary MacMillan‘s SS14 presentation. As a newcomer to the industry, having only launched her eponymous line in 2012, she’s already made quite a name for herself with her elegant designs. This was her first time showing at World MasterCard Fashion week and she set the bar very high for herself for future presentations. I love how wearable her SS14 pieces are. They lend themselves to the possibility of becoming wardrobe staples for many years to come. You could see her attention to detail and quality tailoring, especially in the white dress pictured above, and her commitment to creating beautifully crafted garments to flatter a woman’s body.
