I’ll mostly let these beautiful detail shots of accessories for the CHANEL Fall-Winter 2019/2020 Ready-to-Wear collection speak for themselves because they’re quite stunning. And honestly, you probably don’t need me to blather on and wax poetic on this subject because it’s really quite obvious just how gorgeous these pieces are. I know I have my personal wish-list already compiled, and I have no-doubt many, many others do as well. And at the top of my wish list, the myriad of gorgeous hair accessories like the camellia adorned black bow pictured immediately below. You can rest assured, I’ll be placing a call to my CHANEL sales associate to track this (and maybe a few more pieces) down when the collection hits stores.
Tweed fedoras and platform soled brogues added a dandyish hint of “borrowed from the boys” masculinity that played beautifully against the sumptuous bijoux that adorned many a model. From striking sautoir necklaces of chains and glass beads, to delightfully logo heavy bracelets and earrings, the pieces were the ultimate feminine foil to the menswear inspired tailoring of many of the garments that make up the Fall-Winter 2019/2020 Ready-to-Wear collection.
And the bags, oh the bags! I’ve been debating over the need (yes Darling Husband, this is an actual need, not just a want) for the recently released CHANEL Gabrielle bag to add to my collection. Well, the stunning tweed version shown this season has absolutely solidified this desire as a must have. Done in a elegantly muted tweed with a mixed metal chain and the bold double c zipper pull, it is all but perfection. There are also hip-bags in faux fur and leather, slouchy chic backpacks, and CHANEL classics like the 2.55 and the 11.12 done in fabrication like neon orange quilted leather, tweed, and shearling. Minaudières, always a standout of any CHANEL collection, are done as whimsical yet utterly glamorous rhinestoned resin gondola lifts.
