Even though cooler days are quickly approaching, the fashion world is already looking towards Spring/Summer ’16. Fashion month has officially kicked off with the New York shows and as usual, BCBGMAXAZRIA opened the week on a strong and totally fashionable foot.
Inspired by the surf, skate, and music culture of sunny California, the collection was bohemian beach beauty at its best. Dreamy tie-dyes, intricate patchwork, and richly textured embroideries added dimension to a color palette of crisp white, watery blues, golden yellow, shell pink, and olive green. Husband and wife design duo, Max and Lubov Azria, clearly drew deeply from the iconic American brand’s California roots to create a collection full of youthful spirit and femininity.
