Our second day in Rome was spent further exploring the city and visiting Vatican City. The Vatican Museum was nothing short of amazing, seeing the Sistine Chapel is something that I’ll never forget. I’m a bit of an art nerd and standing under the immense ceiling that Michelangelo spent four years painting sent shivers up my spine. For our marathon day of running around Rome, this simple look of jeans, sneakers, and breezy gingham shirt was perfect. As for the purse, prepare to see a lot of it in the coming posts. It’s pretty much my staple travel bag, easy to dress up for a nice dinner out or casual enough to go with almost every daytime outfit I come up with.
