After a whirlwind two days in Paris, Darling Husband and I picked up our rental car and headed out on the open roads of France. Our first stop was the totally charming city of Rennes in Brittany. The capital of the region, it’s a seat of local government and has a rich history dating back well over 2,000 years. With its architectural spanning many styles and eras, from the Middle Ages to the gilded glamour of pre-Revolutionary France, Rennes is not only visually beautiful but also known as one of the most festive cities in France thanks to its many cultural spaces and concert halls.
This linen Joe Fresh dress proved to be perfect for a day split between driving, exploring, and of course, eating. These three activities actually made up almost the entirety of our vacation. As much as I love shopping on vacation, especially in France, this trip was truly dedicated to expanding our minds and unfortunately in all honesty, our waistlines as well!
