The Canadian Screen Awards were a few weeks ago and when the chance came my way to recreate the beauty look sported by the gorgeous actress Evelyne Brochu, I jumped at the chance. Her stylists created a beautifully subtle but nonetheless dynamic look that suited her perfectly. Anytime pink lipstick and winged eyeliner are utilized in the same look, this girl is hooked, so I knew this look would be one I would love to try out for myself. Since my evening gowns are currently hibernating (hint, hint, nudge, nudge Darling Husband), I decided to take this red carpet look in a more day time direction by toning down the eyeliner ever so slightly. The subtle pink cheeks and pouty pink lipstick however stayed firmly in place and have in fact been in heavy daily beauty routine rotation ever since. As for the hair, even hairstyling challenged me was able to recreate Evelyn’s classic and chic chignon with just three simple products, L’Oreal Professionnel‘s infinium Lumiere hairspray, and Texture Dust and Curl Memory Up Spray from the Tecni Art line.
