Jillian Zrihen is one of Montreal’s very own It Girls. Always impeccably dressed, insanely well-connected (she does helm one of the city’s top boutique Public Relations firms after all), and gorgeous on both the inside and out. She was a natural choice to feature as the latest Real Style subject. Jillian’s style is decidedly luxe but still accessible, think tony designer pieces mixed expertly with key pieces from Zara and the like. If there’s a fabulous event going down in Montreal, you can guarantee Jillian’s there (possibly even having executed it) and dressed beautifully. She’s one of those people who you always hope to run into: genuinely sweet with a welcoming smile and always in the know about the hottest happenings, restaurants, shops, and nightlife spots.
Where do you like to shop in Montreal?
I am such a Zara girl. Most of my other shopping usually happens online or when I travel.
What items are you lusting over for fall?
Anything with a jewel detail, oversized coats, winter whites, fitted turtlenecks for layering, plaid and ankle booties
You have 48 hours in Montreal, how do you spend it?
Hopefully it is in the summer so I can jog on Mount Royal, walk around Beaver lake, swim at a roof top pool, definitley have a bagel for lunch, dinner in the Old Port and spend time with my family.
You run your own boutique PR firm, tell us about it!
I started a boutique PR firm in Montreal 2 years ago that specializes in Fashion, beauty, lifestyle, nightlife and food. With my sister, Kailey Brooke Zrihen’s inspiration and support, I decided to name the agency Tracey Brooke Public Relations: my middle name and her middle name. Basically we cultivate relationships with key players in a variety of industries across Canada. With our extensive network of contacts in hand, we use our expertise to connect our clients with the media, the tastemakers, the influencers, the trendsetters and the stylists of today in order to help them create a buzz about their brand.
What trends are you loving right now?
I discovered neoprene while shopping in London last year and instantly fell in love. It only started showing up recently in stores here and I am still a huge fan. I love the way it hugs the body and how it has such a fashion forward feel to it.
What trend or trends do you wish would just go away?
The peplum!
