Another look from my super laid back weekend. As per the light dusting of snow on the ground, you can see that winter is in full swing here in the 514. This of course makes me very far from happy. I simply don’t like wearing coats (unless of course it adds to an outfit and it’s not giant and puffy) and relegating my good shoes to their boxes due to salt on the streets. I’ve been trying to convince myself that it’s still warm enough to go around without a coat or to simply throw black tights on with outfits that would normally have a bare leg. Case in point, this look. Black tights are another great wardrobe staple, especially come winter when you run the risk of having your legs turn to icicles in the pursuit of sartorial perfection. This Pucci scarf is another nod to the increasingly cold weather that, try as I might to convince myself otherwise, is here. I picked it up a the Vegas outpost of one of my favorite stores, Barneys. I’ve yet to take a trip to Vegas without indulging in the amazing shopping they have to offer. All of my special friends are located within walking distance of one another and for some reason, you can always find pieces in Vegas that never make it to the more mainstream retail locations. Most people go to Vegas to party, I go to shop. And eat. Oh Sushi Samba how I miss you and crave you so.
