This plaid blazer is one of my favourite recent purchases. While it is a Zara purchase, it’s cut really well and the material is nice and substantial. Even though it’s a fast fashion piece, thanks to its classic style and quality construction I know it’s going to age and wear well. Another wonderful purchase featured in this post is the amazing Commando mockneck bodysuit ( you can scoop it up via this {link} ) that I’m wearing under the blazer. I have been wearing it nonstop this Fall/Winter. It is easily the most worn item in my wardrobe. Well, aside from my black leggings that are on eternal repeat. I will say, this bodysuit has the most perfect seamless fit to it and layers so perfectly. In fact, I love this piece so much that I have the short sleeved turtleneck (you can shop it here) and the long sleeved turtleneck version as well (you can shop it here) that Commando also did.
But back to the blazer. I love the borrowed from the boys vibe that a great blazer gives a look. Especially when paired with feminine accessories like a gorgeous handbag and a pair of heels. A well cut blazer is one of the most versatile items to add to your wardrobe. It’s so easy to pair with jeans and trousers for an effortlessly chic look. They can also pair surprisingly well with skirts or layered over a dress. If you don’t have one in your wardrobe, I’d absolutely suggest picking one up.
