Darlings, I’d like to introduce you to my gorgeous new pink CHANEL bag. I’m totally biased but I think she’s quite the beauty. Needless to say, I’m absolutely in love with her. During my last trip to Paris, I knew I wanted to pick up a new CHANEL bag as a treat and to mark finally returning to one of my favourite cities after a two year hiatus thanks to world events. Not only did I know I wanted to treat myself to a new CHANEL bag, I kew I wanted to purchase it from the House’s famed 31 Rue Cambon location. Not only is this the original CHANEL boutique location that Mademoiselle’s apartment sits atop and house’s some of Maison’s ateliers, it is also the only location where you receive your purchases tucked away in white boxes and bags.
After a brief wait since the boutique was having a busy moment, I was paired with a super lovely SA who inquired if there were any particular pieces I was looking for. After letting her know I wanted a smaller size bag and for it to be pink, she brought out a lovely selection of bags. While they were all quite beautiful, this gorgeous little pink and gold beauty was the one who stole my heart. I love that the chain is long and allows for the bag to be worth both as a shoulder bag and a cross-body bag. I also totally fell for the little extra detailing on the gold interlocking C clasp.
