You can never go wrong with all white during the summer. It’s light, airy, and chic. Speaking of white, my wedding dress is officially in my possession! Seeing it hanging in my childhood bedroom makes my impending nuptials all the more real and feel even closer. With my wedding day look finally complete, it’s time to finalize what Darling Fiance will be donning come September. We already had a bespoke tuxedo created for him along with a white dinner jacket which is what he will wearing for the wedding. Next on my list is pretty much everything else he’ll be needing for the big day. My first and only stop was my favorite Philadelphia shopping destination and local institution, Boyds. With its storied history and pristine reputation, Boyds has an unrivaled selection of mens and women’s clothing that attracts a devoted following of clients. Let’s just say that quite a few items that have popped up on here have come from shopping trips at Boyds. However, back to Darling Fiance. This is where I need your help darlings. He and I are at an impasse over his wedding day footwear. I’m firmly in the patent leather camp and he’s refusing. And by refusing, I mean he’s acting like I’m asking him to give up his nightly scotch and trade in his fancy pants car for a Smart Car. What are your thoughts? Team patent leather or should I give up on this seemingly uphill battle?
