This pretty little hidden courtyard in the heart of the Old Port of Montreal is perfectly reminiscent of the courtyards of Paris. Between the old world charm of this part of Montreal and the French language being a point of national pride here in Quebec, you sometimes feel transported to France. Albeit without the transatlantic flight and the epic customs lines and Gallic indifference towards speediness and efficiency at De Gaulle or Orly. To further embrace my inner Parisienne (and Québecoise), I donned this blue and white stripped Victoria Beckham for Target dress and paired it with these admittedly impractical Charlotte Olympia heels.
