Living in Canada, I’ve come to learn that finding winter coats that are both functional and fashionable is pretty valuable. This illusive combination makes donning a winter coat for a good chunk of the year all the more tolerable. Enter this gorgeous Parajumpers coat that was generously gifted to me by their team. While I was familiar with the brand, I had a chance to really discover it during a PR event in the fall. Seeing the incredible quality of their coats, beyond their fabulous styling in person made me fall really hard for the them. I love that creative director Massimo Rossetti was inspired to create these innovative outerwear pieces with the desire to combine technical garments with fashionable styling.
I can not tell you how much I LOVE this coat. Called the Janet, it’s shown here in the off-white, but there are also multiple colorways available. The length is just perfect – it’s long enough that it packs some extra body-warmth, but isn’t so long that it looks like you’re wearing a sleeping bag. I also love the hood and the extra cuff detail that definitely keeps your wrists warm. It’s been my go-to coat since temperatures starting plummeting here in Montreal. It’s been as great a wear during the most recent freezing weather as it was during the first cool days. It also has retained its beautiful white colour with no staining in-spite of madam’s best sticky-handed efforts.
