It’s no secret, I love a good headband. I especially love a good padded headband. Give me Tudor princess vibes and I’m one happy fashionista. When I came across this black padded headband from Hill House Home, I was instantly smitten. Needless to say, with its halo shape and being done in black velvet it gave MAJOR Tudor Princess vibes. Obviously, I ordered it on the spot and immediately started planning to order the pink version as well.
Upon its arrival, I couldn’t wait to start wearing it and styling looks around it. As with most of my online purchases, I was rather excited to show it too Darling Husband. After popping it on my head, I called him over to check out my new piece. He took one look at it and walked away. After what I can only assume was him regrouping – thanks to the awe that he had for my beautiful new padded black headband – he walked back and told me I might as well just start wearing tiaras. Honestly, I don’t totally disagree. It’s actually a rather great idea… one of his better ideas regarding my style, in fact. Lucky for him, I even have my eye on a few that I’ve stumbled upon during fact finding scrolls through 1stDIBS fine jewelry section.
