Today was pretty much vacation perfection. Gorgeous weather, beautiful scenery, a tasty lunch, good company, and a willing outfit photographer in Darling Boyfriend. I have to give the man credit, he might be exhausted from an insane week at work but he’s usually pretty willing and happy to take outfit photos for me. However, he turned to me today in the car and jokingly (possibly?) brought up the idea of starting a support group called “Fashion Blogger Boyfriends Anonymous.” While geared towards the fashion blogger boyfriends of the world, all friends, relatives, and other innocent bystanders who get pressed into taking daily outfit photos are encouraged to attend.
It was a lot of fun to shoot this Jay Godfrey dress that has been hanging in my closet for well over a year. With only a simple stack of bracelets, the dress has that wonderful all-American aesthetic that designers like Ralph Lauren and Tory Burch have popularized and perfected.
