Monday was spent in New York City on the hunt for the perfect pair of wedding shoes with my mum. The intended destination was Christian Louboutin on Madison Ave and of course I found the perfect pair. They’ll be kept a secret till September along with my dress, but I will say they are beyond perfection! Clearly, any shoe from the line is going to be swoon worthy but this special pair looks like it was made to match my dress. This year marks 20 red soled years for Christian Louboutin and the special collection of shoes created to commemorate the milestone are show stopping to say the least. There’s a pair of black and white toile wedges with a delicate ribbon and little touches of red that need to make their way in to my closet. We also stopped in to Pretty Ballerinas and couldn’t help but pick up a pair for me and two for my mum. Seriously, the shop is like a candy store. I think I’m utterly incapable of leaving without a least one pair. Our last stop before our reservation at Artisanal/moo pig cheese fest was Milly. I’ve always loved the pieces that Neiman Marcaus stocks so it was great to visit the flagship store, chat with the lovely assistant manager, and snag a killer piece from the fall/winter collection. After a totally decadent and truffle filled lunch at Artisanal, we headed down to Soho for a post lunch walk. Another perfect day back in the States for sure!
