Montreal, I love you but I have a bone to pick. Your sales tax is brutal. Really brutal. Reeeeeaaaalllly, reaaaaallly brutal. Don’t worry, I still adore you but when it comes to shopping I think we need to make some changes. Henceforth, I think that when in Canada, I should focus on only buying pieces by Canadian designers and labels. We have some really incredible ones here in the Great White North, Miss Bennett…clearly I’m talking about your divine line Mulcair. However, when in the States…all bets are off. The prices are a tad lower and in my home state of Pennsylvania clothing goes un-taxed. That’s right darlings, no taxes on clothing! Between a trip to New York City and browsing boutiques here in Philly, I snagged some great pieces on this trip. I can’t wait to pair this amazing, and admittedly over the top, Milly vest with skinny jeans and knee high boots. I hope you had a wonderful weekend darlings, I know I did! I had another wonderful trip back to the States for sure. I’m back to Montreal tonight and back to school on Monday. The library and I have a hot date together this week that can’t be missed.
