This gorgeous vintage Bergdorf Goodman clutch is the latest addition to my ever-expanding wardrobe. What makes it special is not that it’s a vintage designer piece but rather that it was a birthday gift from a very dear friend. One of the things that I love most about fashion is associating different memories with the pieces I wear. I’ll forever remember the night Darling Fiance and I got engaged when I wore a particular necklace. And I’ll never forget the nights when I thought I could party like a rockstar with actual rockstars when I don a particular dress or top (Long story short: I didn’t learn my lesson the first time and while I might have at one time drank an NHL player under the table, my liver didn’t have the same luck with a bunch of band guys). Just like those items and many more in my closet, this clutch will forever be associated with the amazing individual who gifted it to me and all the memories I share with her.
