Earlier this week I had the pleasure of hosting an intimate evening for some of my favorite media ladies to discover what has become one of my favorite stores in Canada. Maska is not only an amazing family owned business that has been around for over twenty years, it’s also helmed by pretty much the most fashionable and fabulous mother-daughter duo. Thanks to buying trips to Italy every 3 weeks, the store always has a fresh and fashion forward selection of gorgeous pieces straight from Europe. One of the things I love about Maska is that since many of the designers they carry are exclusive to their stores (found in Quebec, Vancouver, Calgary,Ontario, and online) you’ll rarely see anyone else wearing the same thing as you. Another wonderful thing about Maska that I love is that the price point is totally varried and no matter what, you’re getting a high-quality Italian garment.
The ladies and I had a fun evening of nibbling on delicious salads and brownies from Back of House Catering and also learned how to make beautiful summer arrangements from the amazingly talented Laura of Atelier Flora. And as for the the dream dress that I wore to host, it most definitely came home with me.
A huge kudos to the talented Karine for Stop & Stare PR for pulling off such a wonderful night!
