Yesterday was a rare treat, I got to meet Darling Fiance for lunch. We headed over to Vallier on the edge of the Old Port since it’s only a few blocks from his big fancy pants office building and enjoyed a delicious lunch of tartar. After lunch I took advantage of a non-desk bound Darling Fiance to shoot these photos on one of my favorite streets in the area. The sneakers are a new addition in my closet. I’ve been debating purchasing the Isabel Marant cult favorites for months but I just couldn’t justify their hefty price tag for such a trendy item. When I saw this pair in Steve Madden when I was back in the States, I couldn’t pass them up since the price tag was MUCH more friendly. I’m no stranger to overpriced footwear, or any other closet related items for that matter, but I can’t reiterate enough that when I do splurge it’s on classic items like this Chanel bag.
