As I mentioned in a previous post, I went on my yearly Le Château coat buying binge right before Darling Husband, madam, and I went to New York. I packed this other beautiful grey coat as well for our trip and I couldn’t have been more happy to have it with me. I love how this coat has a great menswear inspired silhouette but is tailored perfectly for a woman’s body. I always love a good “borrowed from the boys” piece and even have a tendency of pulling from Darling Husband’s wardrobe, especially from his sweater collection.
Polished and sleek, this long grey piece transitions beautifully from day to night. From a busy day exploring to dinner out, it was an ideal piece to have packed. As for madam’s first dinner in the city, she was a total pro for an evening at the New York outpost of Milos. She lasted through multiple courses of our delicious meal and had fun charming all of the waiters and other tables around us.
