A black turtleneck is one item that every woman should have in her closet. It’s one of those great basic items that can be dressed up or down so easily. For as basic as a black turtleneck is, I find it to be a terribly elegant piece of clothing. It brings to mind the classic and enduring style of some of my favourite fashion icons like Audrey Hepburn and Jackie Kennedy Onassis.
