There are few pieces of clothing that I love more than a linen dress in the summer. Light and comfortable, they’re so easy to accessorize making them an incredibly versatile piece to include in your wardrobe. Easily paired with sandals and sneakers for a cute casual day time look, a great linen dress is just as effortlessly dressed up with a pretty pair of heels for evening. I particularly love a fitted waist and fuller skirted silhouette for a very feminine take on this summer staple. This particular style of linen dress instantly brings to mind Audrey Hepburn and other mid twentieth century style icons like Jackie Kennedy and Grace Kelly. These women were known for their classic and elegant style and thanks to this, not surprisingly, their sartorial legacies have endured and stood the test of time.
