Since moving to Montreal, I’ve discovered what a rich fashion scene exists within Canada. There are so many incredible designers based here in the Great White North and it’s been my mission since first launching WestmountFashionista to share them with my readers around the world. One of my favourite Canadian lines is the fabulous LAMARQUE. Known for creating lust-worthy leather pieces, think the ultimate moto-jacket, they also do beautiful coats in fabrications like rich wools and winter perfect down-filled parkas. Designer Ifigenia Papadimitriou has even introduced ready-to-wear pieces that are influenced by her jet-setting lifestyle and achingly cool personal aesthetic.

The gorgeous camel coloured wool coat in these photos is the latest addition to my collection and I’ve been wearing it non-stop. It’s beautiful neutral colouring goes with basically everything I own and its updated take on the classic men’s trench silhouette makes it incredibly flattering.
