My first full day back in the City of Brotherly Love was perfect. There was gorgeous sunny weather, lunch with my mum at a cute little restaurant, and then a field trip to one of my favorite places of material worship. That’s right, one day in and I’m already venturing to Neiman Marcus or as my father and now Darling Boyfriend refer to it, Needless Markup. My love affair with Neimans started at an early age, I have countless memories of time spent there with both my mum and grandmother. Our trips there were more then just shopping, they were bonding moments. Both my senior prom dress and my first pair of Louboutins’ came from this venerable American style institution. On this visit I found a killer pair of Miu Miu wooden platforms that are undoubtably going to be my summer shoe staple and my mum came away with a gorgeous summer top in the most perfect shade of orange for her.
