Now that the snow is melting at last, the knee socks are making their way back into outfit rotation. I seriously can’t get enough of the mini-skirt, turtleneck, heels, and knee sock combination as evident with the handful of times that I’ve blogged this look. These shoes were one of my killer buys from when I was in the States, I might have forgotten to include the additional four pairs of shoes that I purchased in my haul post form the other week. The shoes are a total no name brand but styled just right, I think they look just as great as their designer counterparts on the shoe shelves in my closet/2nd bedroom/Darling Fiances’s office. As for the sunglasses, I am totally obsessed with their cat-eye shape. If you follow me on Twitter (and if you don’t, you should!) you might have noticed my tweet stating that I wanted to find a pair of cat-eye sunglasses. This style is all over the place right now and I find that it’s actually one of those shapes that ends up looking flattering on most. Well, thanks to a trip to the market that conveniently had a Joe Fresh inside it on Saturday, Darling Fiance bought me a pair of the perfect cat-eye sunglasses. Who would have thought that I’d find them an aisle over from the frozen food? These sunglasses and this pair of shoes is the perfect example of how you can mix some quality investment pieces with items that you find, well…at the grocery store.
