The Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend that’s hosted every year in Montreal is one of the major social and sporting events of the year. Celebrities, socialites, and athletes converge on the city for an epic few days. With countless parties and every decent (and not so decent) restaurant filled to capacity, one can almost forget about the races. I have to admit, I do. I love a good car as much as the next girl, although I tend to call them “pretty’ as in “look at that pretty Bentley!”, but the killer parties are what really make Grand Prix weekend fabulous for me. The first event on my packed social calendar this past weekend was the Hugo Boss X McLaren event that was held in one of my favorite event spaces. Attached to the Montreal Science Center and situated on the waterfront of the Old Port, this sexy and contemporary space was the perfect venue to fete the McLaren driver, Jenson Button. The party was fabulous to say the least, the men where all taken with the pretty cars and the ladies were all quite enamored by the charming British guest of honor. It was truly the perfect event to kick off the weekend.
