Hi-Lo

June 20, 2012

When designers started showing the hi-lo silhouette, I was wary to say the least. Some pieces I ended up loving, others I ended up hating. And then I came across this skirt from Necessary  Clothing during my last trip to New York. I was instantly drawn to the delicate lace panels that broke up what could have been just another black skirt, even with the hi-lo hem. The fact that it was totally wallet friendly and is a great quality totally sealed the deal for me. Pairing the skirt with a simple silk tank allows for it to be the focal point of the look without looking overdone or fussy.

Skirt: Necessary Clothing

Top: Forever 21

Heels: Chanel

Cuff: Chanel

Necklace: H&M

Ring: Kenneth Jay Lane

I enjoy long walks through Neiman Marcus, red soled shoes, skinny black pants, oversized cocktail rings, obnoxious bows, nipped waists and full skirts.
